In an interview on Ogie Diaz’s YouTube vlog, Sugar once again broke the silence and answered the public’s long-standing question: What was it like with Willie?
“I’m not sure! He didn’t admit it!” the former SexBomb dancer replied with a laugh.
She added, “My face is so thick, [if] I admit it – he didn’t admit it.”
She joked while laughing, “I’m not sure, maybe we just bonded later.”
But when asked how many years they were together, Sugar replied bluntly: “Yes! We were together for seven years!”
The showbiz insider followed up and asked the TV host-dancer, “So you’re just not sure if one of them will admit it?”
Sugar said, “No, because of course it would be embarrassing if it were just me, wouldn’t it? Of course, I’m a woman. Of course I have a heart too… And that’s okay because you know he’s very private.”
“And I said, I never regretted anything that happened in my life. And I also admit that I really loved that person too much,” she said.
Following that, the OG SexBomb member also admitted that Willie loved her too, including her two children.
“Of course. Especially my two children and to this day, he can’t be removed from my children’s lives. He’s in our hearts forever,” the celebrity mom chiked.
Even though Willie is still etched in their hearts, Sugar said that they haven’t had any communication for a long time.
In fact, her children often ask how Willie is doing.
“I told them, she’s busy. You know that, she’s focused on what she’s doing right now…and I can’t say anything bad about her because she really loves her kids,” she admitted.
For now, Sugar has closed her heart when it comes to love life.
“If you ask me, I’m not looking anymore. I’m okay with my kids. I’m content with them,” she confessed to a showbiz insider.
Finally, Sugar offered some advice for single moms like her.
“‘The kids, it’s not their fault that they came out into the world. We chose that because we loved each other from the beginning. Then we get divorced, they have nothing to do with it,” she said.
She continued, “When I became a single mom, it was hard. But nothing is impossible if you have the right disposition in life. Because we are their role models. That’s why I’m really careful.”
In 2011, Sugar was part of “Willing Willie” (which later became “Wil Time Bigtime”) with Willie. In 2017, she returned to showbiz in the sitcom “Hay, Bahay!” and reunited with Willie in “Wowowin” after a five-year hiatus from showbiz.
