Social media influencer Janica Nam Floresca recently gave her followers a touching glimpse into the moment she and her husband Lorenz Sia discovered the gender of their first child. The couple, who tied the knot in May, shared a heartwarming video and photos from their intimate gender reveal party attended by close family and friends.
On Instagram, Janica posted the emotional clip, which featured a fun twist—a mock boxing match between mascots representing Team Boy and Team Girl. After winning one round each, the final round went to Team Boy, revealing that the couple is expecting a baby boy. As the confetti flew, both Janica and Lorenz were visibly moved to tears.
“They say real men don’t cry. But real dads do. 🥹,” Janica captioned the video.
She also shared how the moment made everything feel more real:
“Lorenz rarely shows emotions, but our baby changed that. The moment we found out the gender, it finally felt real! This is really happening.”
Lorenz commented on the post with a simple but heartfelt:

The couple had first shared news of their pregnancy in July, with a lighthearted reel showing Janica holding a positive pregnancy test and Lorenz reacting playfully:

Janica and Lorenz got married on May 31 in a private, intimate wedding ceremony surrounded only by their closest family. They later released a wedding video in June to celebrate the occasion with their wider community online.
Reflecting on their relationship, Janica wrote:
“After 5 years we finally said, ‘I do.’ We didn’t get here overnight. We grew through hard conversations, took every fight, and every ‘let’s try again.’ Not everyone saw the journey. But those who did, know this love was pure and real.”
Janica has also been open about her pregnancy journey while living with Type 1 Diabetes, using her platform to raise awareness.
“It’s not easy, but it’s a privilege I’ll never take for granted, because it means I get to grow this little life inside me,” she wrote.
In August, Janica shared a scare that landed her in the hospital due to light spotting. Thankfully, tests ruled out preterm labor, and both she and the baby were fine.
“For now, I just need some rest. Thank you so much to everyone who reached out. Your love and prayers mean so much,” she said.
