Lexi Gonzales also called out the local government unit to provide relief to the barangay that helped her.
Kapuso star and Cruz vs. Cruz actress Lexi Gonzales shared that she is now safe after she was caught stranded in a flood in Quezon City on Saturday, August 30.
“I’ve been safe. I’m safe,” Lexi said in a TikTok video.
She also expressed her gratitude to the people of Brgy. Quirino 2-C, Pajo Street, who helped her during the incident, “Thank you very much, you did not leave me.”
Lexi also called out to the local government unit (LGU) to provide rescue to the barangay. She also encouraged viewers to send their help to the people of Quirino 2-C.
“If anyone wants to send help, don’t forget the people in Brgy. Quirino 2-C, Pajo Street. Please send help to them, the flood in their area is also severe,” the actress said.
Toward the end of her video, Lexi reminded viewers to stay vigilant about the country’s situation in the face of calamities.
“Stay safe, everyone. Don’t worry about me; I’m okay. But let us be aware, let us voice out, let’s not stay quiet, [and] let’s make everyone aware,” said Lexi.
On Saturday afternoon, Lexi shared on her social media accounts that she was stranded in a flood while inside her car.
She also aired her frustration about the situation and empathy for people who were also stranded.
“I’m scared for myself because my car is sinking in the flood. Everything disappeared when I saw their situation here. My problem is nothing compared to their problem. And there’s no rescue, no one came here to help them,” Lexi said on TikTok.
She added, “But even though this happens all the time, no one comes to help. It’s just them. But even though they’re struggling, they still help me.”
