Mae Estes’ Full-Circle Moment with Luke Bryan
Sixteen years ago, Mae Estes was just a young fan lucky enough to score a meet-and-greet with Luke Bryan. Today, she’s not only sharing the stage with him but living out a true “full circle” moment.
Bryan is currently headlining his 2025 A Country Song Came On Tour, which kicked off in May and features a lineup of rising country talent, including Estes. This week, she reflected on the surreal experience in a heartfelt social media post, sharing how her journey with Bryan began back in 2009.
Her post included recent photos from Bryan’s Hartford, CT show, where he invited her on stage to perform together. Mixed in were two throwback shots from the night she first met him in Little Rock. Estes recalled how a woman approached her and her sister outside the venue and unexpectedly handed them meet-and-greet passes. “Y’all already know I’m sappy and that ‘full circle’ is the name of the game round here sooo… Check out these pics from 2009,” she wrote, calling that night unforgettable.
Now, almost two decades later, she’s standing beside the superstar she once admired from the crowd. Grateful for the opportunity, she thanked both her team and Bryan’s for helping make the dream a reality. “We’ll see y’all this weekend in WV, Nashville, then VA!” she added.
“Mountain of a Man” Resonates with Fans
While Estes continues to wow crowds on tour, she’s also building momentum with her latest single, Mountain of a Man. Written by Jon Decious, Lauren McLamb, Liz Rose, and Paul Sikes, the gritty breakup anthem captures the struggle of moving on from someone whose presence feels larger than life.
“Damn that mountain of a man… Got so drunk that I got sober / High as I got, I never got over that mountain of a man,” she belts on the chorus.
The track leans into her neotraditional roots, featuring fiddle, pedal steel, and dobro, evoking the spirit of classic Patty Loveless. Estes says the song has become a highlight of her live shows, where she playfully picks an “honorary mountain of a man” from the audience each night. “I think lots of summertime memories will be made with this one blaring in the background,” she shared.
Mountain of a Man follows her viral success with Mr. Fix It, which gained traction earlier this year thanks to TikTok, inspiring fans to create videos dedicated to the “Mr. Fix It” in their lives.
With more new music slated for release later this year, Mae Estes is steadily carving out her space in country music—proving that sometimes dreams really do come full circle.
