It is worth remembering that Dina highly praised Coney, specifically how she raised her son, Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto, and how Coney deepened her own faith in God.

“Well, that’s nice,” Coney replied in a pocket press interview for her new Kapuso teleserye Love of My Life. “Let’s not bring up the past that was almost 30 years ago. People are quiet, they’ve been quiet about their husbands so let’s leave it be.”

Coney added that she wasn’t the only one who helped Dina get closer to her faith in God.

“Thank you very much, but usually, it’s not just one person who helps us. It’s many,” said the veteran actress. “But thank you very much [to her]. I wish her well. She’s always been nice to Vico, eh, so there’s no problem.”

When asked by the press how they managed to maintain their friendship after the fight, Coney simply chose to repeat her initial statement of not bringing up the past.

“Like I said, let’s not bring up the past. That’s enough,” she said. “Aren’t you happy for all of us? I’m very happy for them, I’m very happy for her, I’m very happy for everybody being happy. Let’s just be quiet. Love of My Life, starring Coney, Carla Abellana, Rhian Ramos, Mikael Daez, and Tom Rodriguez, will premiere on GMA-7 this Monday, February 3!
