Amidst speculation and rumors, Willie Revillame finally spoke out and broke the silence regarding his controversial relationship with former “Wowowee” dancer Sugar Mercado. After years of silence, Willie made revelations that shocked many.
According to an exclusive interview, Willie could no longer hold back from venting his anger regarding the accusations and malicious rumors linking him and Sugar. “I can’t keep quiet anymore. I need to correct the misconceptions,” said the famous TV host, his voice clearly shaking with anger.
Willie also did not ignore those who said he abandoned Sugar after she left “Wowowee.” He lashed out at those who criticized him and clarified the real reason for their separation. “He wasn’t fired, he wasn’t abandoned. There was just a misunderstanding that shouldn’t be made big,” Willie insisted.
But the most explosive revelation was when they were asked directly if it was true that they had a special relationship. Instead of avoiding the question, Willie boldly gave the answer that heated up social media: “She’s important to me, but not in the way that others think!”
On the other hand, Sugar Mercado is still silent and has not yet released any statement regarding Willie’s statements. Many are hoping that she will also speak out at the right time to clarify the true state of their relationship.
As the issue heats up, the public continues to wait for the two to take their next step. The questions and speculations are deepening—is there any hope of reconciliation or will their story finally end?
This revelation by Willie Revillame has left many puzzles in the public. The question now is: are the two hiding a deeper secret?
Sugar Mercado admits to her relationship with Willie Revillame: Yes! We were together for 7 years!
THE REAL score between Sugar Mercado and Willie Revillame has long been a topic of discussion.
In an interview on Ogie Diaz’s YouTube vlog, Sugar once again broke the silence and answered the public’s long-standing question: What was it like with Willie?
“I’m not sure! He didn’t admit it!” the former SexBomb dancer replied with a laugh.
She added, “My face is so thick, [if] I admit it – he didn’t admit it.”
She joked while laughing, “I’m not sure, maybe we just bonded later.”
But when asked how many years they were together, Sugar replied bluntly: “Yes! We were together for seven years!”
The showbiz insider followed up and asked the TV host-dancer, “So you’re just not sure if one of them will admit it?”
Sugar said, “No, because of course it would be embarrassing if it was just me, right? Of course, I’m a woman. Of course I have a heart too… And that’s okay because you know he’s very private.”
And I said, I never regretted anything that happened in my life. And I also admit that I really loved that person too much,” she added.
Following that, the OG SexBomb member also admitted that Willie loved her too, including her two children.
“Of course. Especially my two children and until now, he can’t be removed from my children’s lives. He’s in our hearts forever,” the celebrity mom chiked.
Even though Willie is still etched in their hearts, Sugar said that they haven’t had any communication for a long time.
In fact, her children often ask how Willie is doing.
“I told them, he’s busy. You know, she’s focused on what she’s doing now…and I can’t say anything bad about her because she really loved her kids,” she admitted.
For now, Sugar has closed her heart when it comes to love life.
“If you ask me, I’m not looking anymore. I’m okay with my kids. I’m content with them,” she confessed to a showbiz insider.
Finally, Sugar gave some advice for single moms like her.
“The kids, it’s not their fault that they came out into the world. We chose that because we loved each other from the beginning. Then we get divorced, they have nothing to do with it,” she said.
She continued, “When I became a single mom, it was hard. But nothing is impossible if you have the right disposition in life. Because we are their role models. That’s why I’m really careful too.”
In 2011, Sugar was part of “Willing Willie” (which later became “Wil Time Bigtime”) with Willie.
